THE NON-KILLER FILLER! :(

That's what I've dubbed last night's episode of True Blood:  "the Filler Episode".  Completely uneventful and horribly acted.  I'm hoping that the lack of excitement in this week's episode is due to the fact that they had to save up for the kick ass finale.

I haven't even had my usual second viewing of the show yet.  Just not motivated.  And I don't even recall hearing anything worthy of my 'fave quotes' section.  BOO!!!!!!!

If I had to absolutely pick a favorite, I'd have to say Bill calling Eric out on the V dealing was my favorite scene.  Just 'cause I love any confrontation between these two, and I just love that Bill has a (small) hold over Eric now.  Not that it's going to stop him from pursuing his lady, but still.

A big let down for me was the Queen.  I was all hyped to see the epitome of vampire royalty and she turns out to be..... CORNY?  Not sure, but I think it was Evan Rachel Wood's bad acting that annoyed me.  She seemed to be trying too hard to convince us that she was a bad ass.  Her lines didn't flow well.   In other words, it didn't seem to come naturally to her.  I've never seen any of her previous work, but maybe she was miscast here. Which is a shame, 'cause I love her look.  She seemed to pull off the spunky aspect of her character, but I didn't buy her conniving/evil side.  And that's the side that counts here. She didn't pull it off in the same way as say Eric pulls off his 'the-whole-world-evolves-around-me-that-I -could-give-a-shit-about-everyone-else' attitude.  I mean, the Queen is supposed to be revered and feared, yet she wasn't even slightly intimidating to me.  (sigh)

Sadly, the real highlight last night was the finale highlight reel at the end.  Both Sookie AND Maryann dressed in identical white gowns.....Lafayette with the creepy black eyes..... but how will it all go down?  I'm racking my brain trying to figure out who does what!   Grrrrrrr!!!!!!

See you in two weeks.....
