TWO EPISODES LEFT? NOOOOOO!!!!!

Let's recap this week's episode, shall we? 

THE BIG QUESTION:  What in the hell is Sookie?????  I've always had a feeling that Sookie was somehow going to save the day, but are we seeing a glimpse of Sookie's unknown powers that even she's unaware of?  

THE UNSUNG HERO:  I heart Jason Stackhouse! I've been predicting that Jason may be the hero to save the day.  Love how he came back home, fully recharged on taking a stand against all who threaten his family and hometown.  And who knew Jason could be so effective armed with a nail gun and chainsaw? haha

THE LIFESAVER:  I just can't get enough of Lafayette.  I think I tune in every week just to see what he says or does.  What would Tara do without him?  (See my favorite quotes at the end of this blog -- Lafayette always make the cut! :-0)

THE QUEEN:  I think anyone who has seen the TB trailers knows that the Queen has yet to make her appearance, which brings me to my next finale prediction:  Possible showdown between the Queen and Maryann??? EEEEEEKKKKKK!!!!

BEST TEAM EFFORT:  You gotta admit the pairing of Andy and Jason pulling off the "God" scene to fool Maryann's followers to save Sam..... freakin' CLASSIC!  :-0

THE NEWBIE:  The addition of Jessica to this season has been such a BLAST!  She has brought so much to the show, and the actress' portrayal of her is awesome!  But now that she crossed the line with Hoyt's mama, where does that leave the two lovebirds?  Hmmmm....

THE DOWNER:  Other than the awesome dream scene in the beginning, Eric was absent from this episode (sigh).  Since last week's episode was so awesome and Eric-filled, I'll justify it by saying Eric's absence was due to his continued grieving over Godric's death! heehee

TB EYE CANDY: JASON STACKHOUSE!!!!

Boy, riding the Greyhound never seemed so TEMPTING! :-0  There is no other TB character hotter than Jason Stackhouse.  He totally stole the show in the first season and while we didn't get to see him as naked this season, we did get to see the old Jason come out when he gave it to the preacher's wife right in the church! haha  I have to admit that I missed seeing the sibling bond between he and Sookie this season, so it was nice to see them make amends and to come to terms with everything.  Ryan Kwanten brings the perfect mix of dimwitted hick and fun loving guy to this role.  Not to mention, you'd never guess there was an Australian lurking beneath that southern accent!

The latest GQ spread featuring Ryan is the best shoot of him I've seen to date, so I've been drooling over the pics these past few days.  I would've loved to have seen more shirtless Jason, but being that this IS for GQ, guess he's gotta push the clothes at some point! haha He definitely does a yoga body good! ENJOY!

BEST EPISODE OF TRUE BLOOD EVERRRRRRR!!!!!!!

FINALLY!  My first Sookie Swan post!  YAY!!! Took me a minute since to be honest, I forgot I set up this blog account! haha  Second, I've just been out of the blogger loop.  But here I am, and hot off last night's True Blood episode, so let's begin.....

The OBVIOUS -- GODRIC!  Why'd he have to go so fast?  Just when we got to know who he was and learned to love him... HE LEAVES!!! NOOO!!!! I'm still in TB denial!  WTF, Allan Ball? I have to trust that there's a method to your madness.  Please let him come back next season in flashbacks... ANYTHING!  Life won't be the same without our little bad ass vamp! 

The ROOFTOP SCENE -- Easily the best scene to date.  So many emotions were going on in this scene for me.  Mortal vs. Immortal.  Sookie seeing Eric at his most vulnerable.  Eric showing he does have a heart.  This scene was so well played by the 3 actors that I'm going to call it right here -- Emmy Nom!  Straight up!  'Cause TB's writing is the shit, but that episode as a whole was just AWESOME!  

The HOT VAMP -- If anyone was on the fence with Eric, this episode definitely set them completely over.  Anyone who could get you to think he was a deceitful pig (tricking Sookie into saving him), yet turn around and make you want to cradle him, take him home and care for him (rooftop scene) is a master of his craft.  And that dream sequence?  Like most fans, I'm STILL dreaming about it...(sigh).

The SIBLINGS -- Finally, Jason and Sookie make amends with all that went on in the first season.  The scene between them was so great, and so personal.  LOVED IT! 

The BAD ASS -- Ohmigod, do NOT get me started on Lafayette!!!!  He is easily my fave character on this show from season 1.  He brings so much and watching him give Eggs a beatdown was one of the great thrills this season!!!  And only he could rescue Tara the way he did! CRAZZZZYYYY!!  One of these days, I'm going to do a blog devoted to Lafayette quotes! :-0
